It’s summer again. Read and have fun. Join the Adult Summer Reading Program for ages 17 and up. Sign up at the Austin Public Library or online. Be eligible for prizes. Here’s how it works:
- Sign up at the Library or online.
- Read, read, read.
- Record books in your reading log/entry form.
- Return completed log/form to any library location.
Journey Beyond, the 2010 Adult Summer Reading Program Kicks Off at Recycled Reads
If you're planning on heading to Barton Springs or any of our Austin pools and parks this summer, bring a book to read! Help us promote the love of reading by joining the 2010 Adult Summer Reading Program, Journey Beyond. The 2010 Adult Summer Reading Program Kickoff takes place from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 12 at Recycled Reads, 5335 Burnet Road. Recycled Reads, the Austin Public Library's used bookstore, will be hosting a sale of vintage and pulp fiction featuring paperback fiction from the 1950s, 60s and 70s. Summer Reading Program sign-up forms will be available. All proceeds benefit the Austin Public Library. For more information please call 512-974-7400.
